sneaker wedge

Isabel Marant started an amazing revolution last year with the release of the sneaker wedge, I wanted to die when I saw the yellow/gray ones...ahh they did so good that they made a new version available in September, pictured below.

I would have never noticed them had Ari not expressed his love for sneaker wedges! He is VERY picky about shoes :)
..........At first I was weary when he urged me to get the Ash wedge pictured here.........

After months of pondering over whether or not I liked them, I decided to finally purchase the mid-price-range $350 See by Chloe wedge sneaker--- Isabel Marant's are around $600, then Ash is around $200. Here they are in all their glory....

I ended up getting them in the beige color because they were having a sale at bloomingdales and I got $100 off! It was fate...so happy. I will do some outfit posts as soon as I get them in the mail!

Easy. Simple. Understated. Whether it's running errands in leggings or going out in sequins, miltary jackets seem to always come to the rescue.

So we have been planning out the centerpieces and we are going for traditional mixed with modern.....12 tables will have the large scale sticks with flowers glued to them and fresh hydrangeas around the base.... Then I think 6 tables of the black boxes with 16 candles on top and then 6 more tables of just flowers.... ekk!!! so excited :)

I don't know that I will ever perfect the art of the smokey eye. I never do quite enough and always try to do more than I think I should. Guys love it, Ari begs for me to do the smokey eye. haha.

Is it a myth? Do you really get that magical feeling when you try on "the one"....? I have liked quite a few of the dresses I have tried on but have yet to feel that special something! Is it like finding your one true love? A spark that is indescribable? Regardless the one Vera Wang style that I love I am trying on in a few days for the first time. Let's hope I feel something. If not I am going to have to go with one of these! Which isn't so bad, not one that stands out to me more than another. Either way I enjoyed the attention and trying on rediculously expensive dresses that will only be worn once :)

My dream dress the Vera Wang Helene... As seen on Brooklyn Decker and Khloe Kardashian.

This J.Crew Dress- reminds me of my dream dress.....it debuts in January and because I'm on a budget I am going to order it! ahh! THE vera wang is my favorite!
